Happy Rio

Located in a quiet street in Copacabana and just a few blocks away from the Beach (Just 3 minutes walking). Around the Hostel you can find everything you need: supermarkets, pharmacies, subway, bus stops, laundry and restaurants.

How To Arrive In Happy Rio Hostel:

Aeroporto Santos Dumont
Coming from Santos Dumont Airport: Located in the City Center, Santos Dumont Airport is the main airport for flights inside brazilian National Territory. If you’re coming from this airport, you can take the bus from Real bus company (called as “Frescao”), usual bus or cab in airport area. If you take the bus, make sure it pass through Copacabana. Go to Atlantica Avenue (it’s the avenue that goes along Copacabana beach), corner with Figueredo Magalhães Street. Get In Figueredo Magalhães, then pass by Domingos Ferreira st., Nossa Senhora de Copacabana Avenue, Barata Ribeiro st., Edmundo Lins st., and then turn right in Silva Castro Street. Look for number 39, and you’ll be welcome in Happy Rio Hostel.

Galeão International AirportComing from Galeão International Airport (also called as Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport): Located in the North Side of the city. According to Infraero statistics, it’s the main entrance for international flights in Brazil. You can look for Real Bus Company, take a bus that pass through Copacabana, or even take a cab in the airport area. Go to Atlantica Avenue (it’s the avenue that goes along Copacabana beach), corner with Figueredo Magalhães Street. Get In Figueredo Magalhães, then pass by Domingos Ferreira st., Nossa Senhora de Copacabana Avenue, Barata Ribeiro st., Edmundo Lins st., and then turn right in Silva Castro Street. Look for number 39, and you’ll be welcome in Happy Rio Hostel.

Subway station
You’re near a subway station: Get into the subway, Go to Siquera Campos Station. When you arrive in the station, exit by Figueredo Magalhães Exit, cross Toneleiros Street, following Figueredo Magalhães st., then turn left in Castro Silva st., look for number 39 and you’re in Happy Rio Hostel.

Bus
If you’re coming from bus: the bus may pass by some streets in Copacabana: Atlantica avenue, Nossa Senhora de Copacabana avenue or Barata Ribeiro Street. In all of those cases, you must look for the corner with Figueredo Magalhães street. Then turn into Figueredo Magalhães street, following the cars direction and by the right side of the street. Walk until you reach Silva Castro street, and look for number 39.
